SUMMER CAMP

Cultivating Community & Confidence

Every summer, campers enter under the Camp Lake Stephens arch eager to experience fun and fellowship in the midst of God’s beautiful Creation.  While at camp, it is our hope and intent that campers grow deeper in their Christian faith, learn healthy practices in teamwork and social interaction, and gain self confidence through exploration and celebration of their individual gifts and abilities.

MAIN CAMP

Main Camp is a traditional camp experience that has remained the heartbeat of our ministry for 76 years. Upon arrival, campers are welcomed into their cabin by 1 counselor and up to 8 campers who experience the week together as a Christian community. Overnight camps are available for those who have finished 1st – 11th grades, and day camps are offered to those finishing

K – 3rd grade.

ADVENTURE CAMP

Adventure Camp overlooks beautiful Lake Stephens and offers a more rustic experience for campers who have finished 4th – 12th grades. Adventure Camp is an open-air and solar powered facility, and the “Tree House” grounds offer a smaller community experience of up to 24 campers and 5 staff. 3 day/2 night adventure trips such as whitewater rafting and Kayaking are offered to junior and senior high campers! For those looking for even more we have a special 4 day/ 3 night trip for Junior High (Rock Climbing) and Senior High (Beach)

DAY CAMP

 Finished K - 3rd grade

Monday - Friday

Day camp is a great way to get your young ones introduced to camp life! Campers arrive each day at 8am and spend all day exploring camp and having fun with new friends while learning about God and their faith! Campers leave for home around 4:30pm each day to rest up for another day full of adventures!

CAMP RAINBOW

For over 50 years, Camp Rainbow has been a shining light in the CLS community. Camp Rainbow serves adults 18 and older with special needs. Each camper is offered at least a 1:2 counselor to camper ratio, and while they are here, campers are given the opportunity to engage in fun camp activities while making friends, building skills, and enhancing self-confidence. Most importantly, every camper will feel the love of God through all Camp Rainbow staff and volunteers.
