Main Camp

“My daughter LOVES CLS! She never wants to come home when camp is over.”

Summer Camp Parent

Since 1946, Main Camp has been the traditional camp experience at Camp Lake Stephens.  Campers stay overnight in air-conditioned cabins with their camp counselor and up to seven campers, participating in all camp activities with their cabin mates for the duration of their stay.

We are excited to offer two new one-week long programs for our Senior High campers.  Each week will offer unique opportunties for our oldest campers to re-live the “best of moments” of camp – from the zip line through outpost!  As a group, they have the ability to choose what activities they do, along with diving deeper into scripture, creating community, and equiping campers to take what they learn and apply it at home.

Mission Statement

Camp Lake Stephens, a United Methodist Camp and Retreat Center, is committed to being a place where children, youth, and adults can encounter God and respond in faith to God’s call to transform the world.
