ADVENTURE CAMP

Since its creation in the summer of 2008, Adventure Camp has offered a more rustic experience for Elementary, Junior High, and Senior High campers who desire a more challenging camp opportunity.  Overlooking beautiful Lake Stephens, “The Tree Houses” are open-air and powered by solar energy.  Junior High and Senior High Campers have the opportunity to go on offsite excsursions such as white water rafting, backpacking, and rock climbing. These adventures are designed provide a unique opportunity to experience creation differently and further guide them along their faith journey.

Elementary Tree House

Campers spend the entire week at the Tree House Camp, where they participate in all traditional camp activities. Tree House campers help prepare and cook their own meals and have the opportunity to do specialized activities specific for their camp and age.

Whitewater Rafting @ Ocoee River

Campers travel to the Ocoee River for a 3 day/2 night adventure, which includes whitewater rafting and tubing. The remainder of the week will be spent in the Tree House cabins overlooking the lake.

Junior High Backpacking @ South Cumberland State Park

Campers will travel to southern Tennessee, to experience the unforgettable scenery of the Cumberland Plateau! This 3 day 2 night adventure will involve hiking and tent camping throughout South Cumberland State Park and the Fiery Gizzard Recreation Area. The remainder of the week will be spent in the Tree House cabins overlooking the lake.

 Senior High Rock Climbing @ Foster Falls Recreation Area

Campers will travel to southern Tennessee, to experience the unforgettable scenery of the Cumberland Plateau! This 3 day 2 night adventure will involve rock climbing and tent camping throughout Foster Falls Recreation Area. Campers should bring jeans or long pants to climb in as well as closed toed shoes. The remainder of the week will be spent in the Tree House cabins overlooking the lake.
