Worship Speaker: Nick Mielke
Nick Mielke has been the Director of Youth Ministries at FUMC Prattville, Alabama since January 2010. Having served at several churches in the Montgomery River Region as well as on staff with the Alabama West Florida Conference Nick brings 15 years experience to the FUMC Youth Ministry. Nick and his wife Laura have 3 year old twin daughters named Harper and Lily. Nick loves the Atlanta Braves, the Auburn Tigers, and the rockstar Director of Camp Lake Stephens, Darrell Whitaker.
Worship Band: EPIPHANY
Epiphany is the Worship Band of Mineral Wells United Methodist Church in Olive Branch, MS. Contemporary worship songs, hymn arrangements, and eclectic pop/rock music encompass the worship experience. Epiphany means: “manifestation” or “appearance”, simply “to be made known.”

NEW YEAR’S EVE CONCERT

The Mississippi Gulf Coast native, LP is spearheading a new movement to illuminate, encourage, and empower the young in spirit with a sense of purpose with his, debut release, “Testimony”! His current single, ”We Can’t Lose” is a hit song with a video for “We Can’t Lose”, being played on MTV, BET, THE WORD NETWORK, TBN, MUSIC CHOICE, and 18 other markets across the country, has been considered for the Stellar Award, Best Video of The Year.
ABOUT THE RETREAT:
Join us for fun and a chance to rekindle a love for God before the start of a New Year! Registration will be until December 20, 2011, or until spots run out!
There will be youth from all across the state of Mississippi who will join together for fellowship, spiritual growth, and worship. Some of the events during the weekend will include: a worship concert, dance, and a no-holds-barred fireworks show.
What to bring: a Bible, warm clothes, comfortable walking shoes, toiletries, bedding or sleeping bag.
What to leave: things that distract you from experiencing Christ (this probably means your cell phone!)
IF one of your youth need a scholarship, let us know….we do not want money to keep anyone from coming to experience God at camp.

Total cost of the event is $99 per person (this also applies for adults and youth ministers). In turn, you will be mailed a confirmation and health form, to be sent back in with remaining balance.
