Each summer we offer one Adventure Camp opportunity for youth who have finished grades 6-12. For the second time, we have decided to make our backpacking trip the trip for Junior and Senior High youth. Instead of staying at Main Camp, campers are housed in our Tree House Adventure Camp overlooking the lake. These tree houses are very rustic (no AC) and solar powered. Campers typically spend the first two night of the week in the tree houses and they will cook most of their own meals there. They leave on Wednesday morning for the backpacking trip portion of the week. They will return to camp on Friday afternoon. Adventure Camp Brochure
For students who have finished grades 9 and 10 only. These three week opportunities are meant to give high school students who have completed their freshman or sophomore years (only; cannot be younger or older) an opportunity to lead at camp. They will have the opportunity to work with the camp staff, as well as be part of the summer camp program in helping to lead in several different capacities. Alongside program leadership, grounds/dining hall service, and cabin assistance, LITs will have the chance to grow in faith as well, with specific bible studies geared toward their lives.
