HOW CAN YOU HELP?

It has long been a legacy of Camp Lake Stephens that the children and youth who spend time here remember the experience for the rest of their lives. We have many who return as adults that walk the grounds and relive the life-changing memories they made during some lazy summer week a long time ago.

We want that legacy to continue. And we especially want the youth of North Mississippi and beyond to have every opportunity to draw close to God and obediently follow Him as a result of their learning experiences at Camp Lake Stephens. We also want the adults who take part in the camp’s activities throughout the year to come away spiritually renewed as a result of having been here.

To accomplish these tasks, we need your help!

We invite you to become our partner as we strive to achieve our campaign goal:

Sponsor a Camper

Gifts of any size can help provide scholarships for a camper. Just indicate “scholarship for a camper” in the memo line of your check, or in the comment section of your on-line gift, and your gift will be combined with others to help make summer camp more affordable for children and youth whose families may be experiencing financial difficulties.

Sponsor a Counselor

With a pledge of $2,000 to the 2011 Annual Fund, you will sponsor a specific counselor for next summer. This gift will underwrite the summer stipend for the counselor you will be sponsoring, and giving at this level will qualify you for membership in the Campfire Society.

In return for your sponsorship, you will receive:

full biographical information
his or her email address
a personal note from the counselor you’ve sponsored
membership in the “Campfire Society”
contact with your sponsored counselor, including emails, letters and care packages, will be encouraged

Other Ways to Help

Please pray for the campaign’s success and for our ministry, staff and board;
Become a campaign volunteer and help us in those areas where your expertise can best be utilized;
Give us the names of contacts who might possibly help the campaign;
Make a monetary contribution either through a one-time gift or a pledge payable over a one-or two-year period;
Make a bequest through your Will or remember us in your charitable remainder trust;
Make a gift of stock or real estate.
